Donegal County Council tender for demolition of existing pump station and package plant and construction of new Irish Water spec pump station at Dromore Park Killygordon

Tender description

The works in this Contract include the following: Design, supply and install new pump station in accordance with Irish Water Code of Practice for Wastewater Infrastructure IW CDS 5030 03 including all civil works wastewater pumping station proposal in specifications folder of contract documents. Max. depth to deepest chamber from FFL is 6.75m approx. Temporarily divert existing foul sewer around new pump station site for the duration of the works approx. length 35m. Construct new 225mm sewer to connect existing foul sewer to the new pump station, approx. length 26m. Connect existing sewer and rising main laid by UE Regional Contractor to new pump station, approx. length 10m. Provide and install 25mm OD watermain pipe from new pump station to existing watermain on opposite side of adjoining local road, approx. length 20m. Construct gravel covered access track with incorporated weed barrier from existing site entrance to new pump station, approx. length 85m. Upgrade access to existing site by lowering approx. 20m of existing kerbing and regrading approx. 44m2 of existing bituminous footpath. Supply and install approx. 80m of 1.8m high close board timber fencing to locations at site boundary, including 1.8m x 4m wide metal gate. Sections of existing failing timber fencing to be removed. Decommission and backfill existing pump station and associated package treatment plant and level affected areas.
