Tender description

Derry City and Strabane District Council invite suppliers to tender for PeacePlus Muintearas (Belonging). Muintearas (the Irish word for Belonging/Neighbourliness/Friendship/ Community) is a key Irish language and cultural project. Delivered on a cross-community basis, it will encourage a more diverse North West Irish Language community and challenge myths and stereotypes. It will have a strong focus on outreach and engagement with identities not traditionally (recently) engaged with Irish Language. Participants will access a menu of cross-community options tailored to their level of Irish, location and interests. Arising from the Co-design process in the Moor District Electoral Area (DEA), this project should strive to bring key benefit to that area as well as reaching out to other parts of the council and cross-border area.
