Tender description

The purpose of this contract is to provide evidence from an external perspective to inform a strategic review of how national-level heritage designations are delivered by HES. The work will involve the Supplier engaging with HES and stakeholders to gather and provide evidence in a number of areas concerning delivery of national-level heritage designation by HES. Lot 1: The work will involve the Supplier engaging with HES and stakeholders to gather and provide evidence in a number of areas concerning delivery of national-level heritage designation by HES. The work is intended to inform the strategic review by HES, including the development of a strategic plan for national-level heritage designations in Scotland. The successful supplier will be expected to engage with service users and stakeholders from HES staff to others, such as local authorities, heritage professionals, estate agents, developers, owners of designated sites and places, and other UK heritage agencies. The details of that engagement will be agreed with HES. The Supplier will be expected to deliver a report to Historic Environment Scotland.
