Tender description

Mid and East Antrim Borough Council (herein referred to as “Council”) require the services of an Architect Led Design Team to develop options to assist in determining the preferred scale and location for new Grade A office accommodation in Ballymena designed to Passive House standard. The Architect Led Team are required to develop concept designs, civil, structural and services strategies with associated capital and whole life costings. The appointed team are required to provide a feasibility study report and economic appraisal for the new office accommodation, which evidences the rational for a preferred option. The feasibility work needs to be undertaken at three sites - the former Woolworths Site, Bridge Street Car Park and St Patricks Site. The building should be designed to Passive House standard.
