Wyre Council Leisure Contract

This is a prior information notice and is not being used as a call for competition. Wyre Council intend to issue a Contract Notice in December 2024 for the procurement of a new contract for the management of the Councils’ Leisure Centres from 1st April 2026. Lot 1: Wyre Council are conducting a Procurement exercise for the management of its existing wet and dry leisure facilities. The facilities are currently operated through an outsourced contract arrangement which expires in March 2026. The facilities that will be included in a new contract are: Fleetwood Leisure Centre – 6-lane 25m main pool, learner pool, 5-court sports hall, c.21-station gym, spin studio, treatment / multi-purpose room, outdoor splash pad and café Garstang Leisure Centre – 4-court sports hall, c.16-station gym, exercise studio Garstang Swimming Pool – 3-lane x 20m pool Poulton Leisure Centre – 3-lane 20m pool, c.45-station gym, exercise studio, spa Thornton Leisure Centre – 5-court sports hall, c.70-station gym, 2 exercise studios, spin studio, activity room (Innerva suite), boxing studio, 2 x 3G 5 a side artificial turf football pitches, 10-lane bowling facility, indoor skate park, 2 squash courts and café Wyre Council intend to issue a Contract Notice in December 2024 for the procurement of a new contract for the management of the Councils’ Leisure Centres from 1st April 2026.
