Via offers services both specific to highways and in the wider engineering sector, including: • Highways maintenance • Design and consultancy • Construction • Signals and lighting • Landscaping • Environmental management • Road safety • Fleet services • A dedicated Highways Training Centre The Highways Division is responsible for the management of 4,200 km of road, 300km of cycle paths, 90k streetlights 88k road gullies and approximately 10,000km of sewers within the Nottinghamshire County Council boundaries. The department employs approximately 350 people, there are a number of bases within the county. Via East Midlands Ltd (defined as the Purchaser(s) are seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced Contractor that can supply, and install where necessary, Traffic Signal Controllers and Miscellaneous equipment. The purpose of this tender is to award a contract to a single Contractor able to provide for the supply and installation of traffic signal controllers and miscellaneous equipment as required by Purchaser(s).
