Provision of Services relating to the removal of Hygiene Waste (Washroom Services)

Tender description

First Rail Holdings (FRH) are seeking to contract with a Hygiene Waste Services provider on behalf of Great Western Railway (GWR) and South Western Railway (SWR) and Avanti West Coast (AWC). The provision of Hygiene Waste services includes the both the supply and servicing of containers/dispensers and consumables. The contract will cover all stations, depots, and office facilities. Lot 1: First Rail Holdings (FRH) are seeking to award a contract/s to a supplier/s with a proven track record of delivering high quality Hygiene Services (Washroom Services). The provision of Hygiene Waste services includes the both the supply and servicing of containers/dispensers and consumables. The Supplier shall provide waste management Services on a per site basis, to ensure waste: • is properly segregated, • is properly stored and transported in line with statutory compliance, • is prevented from uncontrolled discharge, • is legally disposed of, • zero to landfill, • is transferred only to an authorised, organisation, • is transferred with an adequate description, • transfer documents are complete and timely, provided electronically via an online portal, and are available for the statutory period.
