GB-London: SEND research engagement workshops

Tender description

The Local Government Association, working in partnership with the County Councils Network, commissioned independent research, Towards an effective and financially sustainable approach to SEND in England, that both set out how the existing SEND is 'failing to deliver for children, young people and their families' and 'despite the continuing and unprecedented investment, the system is not financially sustainable.' Having published this research, the LGA, working with CCN, are seeking a contractor who can facilitate up to nine regional and one national workshops, to discuss the recommendations set out in the report with the aim of building a consensus on the shape of a reformed SEND system. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
