008688 – Provider Consultation Event - Aids and Adaptations Framework 2025

Tender description

Newcastle City Council has a duty under the Care Act 2014 and the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 to provide adaptations for qualifying residents. The pre-tender event for the Aids and Adaptations Framework 2025 will take place on Wednesday 6th November at 11am-12.30pm via Microsoft Teams. Please e-mail seamus.walsh@newcastle.gov.uk to express your interest and to be forwarded the teams meeting invite. The event will provide the instructions and information required for businesses to tender for the framework. The multi-Lot framework provides adaptations for residents including, but not limited to: -Stair Lifts -Ceiling Track Hoists -Platform Lifts/ Vertical Lifts/ Step Lifts -Level Access Showers / Shower over baths / Wash-Dry toilets / Kitchens and Internal Alterations -Extensions, Room/ Garage Conversions -Door Entry / Key Safes / Access –Access Works (Ramps, Steps, Paving etc.) Keywords: Stair Lifts, Bathroom Modifications, Aids and Adaptations, Access Works, Platform Lifts, Ceiling Track Hoists
