Tender description

The council is a Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) charging authority for the purposes of Part 11 of the Planning Act 2008.? The Council expects new development to contribute to site related and wider infrastructure needs through a combination of the S106 developer contributions (financial or in kind) and Community Infrastructure Levy. CIL is applied to the chargeable floor space of all new development apart from that exempt under Part 2 and Part 6 of the Community Infrastructure Levy Regulations (as amended).?? The council is seeking to undertake a partial review of CIL rates to amend the current rates for the following development types and areas:? - Student housing (including direct lets, and nomination schemes)? - A CIL boundary review? ????To complete this work, specialist expertise is required that the council does not have in-house.???
