RFI: Facilities Management Services

Tender description

Lot 1: Cleaning Services - The objective of the cleaning service is to provide a sanitary, clean and tidy environment to enable staff and visitors to use the premises safely and hygienically. The Contractor shall also clean certain high security areas such as laboratories and server rooms in the presence of NPL staff. This lot will also include waste management. Lot 2: Logistics Services - The services are designed to ensure the efficient and effective management, handling, storage, receipt, dispatch, and distribution of various items, including postal items, goods, scientific equipment, and specialised consignments in the UK and internationally. Additional information: This Procurement was previously issued onto the Bravo Portal on 22 July as "PQQ_195 - Soft FM Services" and included both cleaning and logistic elements together. Following internal discussion, National Physical Laboratory have taken the strategic decision to split the services previously issued. These have now been split into two separate lots and therefore we will run the Cleaning and Logistics separately. Suppliers are permitted to submit an RFI for both or either lot. Lot 1: Cleaning Services (PQQ_199) Lot 2: Logistics Services (PQQ_200) Suppliers should ensure they are registered on the link to gain access to the documents.
