NW2024-68 Provision of Community Aural Microsuction Service Market Engagement

Tender description

The objective of this project is to commission community microsuction services for Norfolk and Waveney ICS in response to existing contract arrangements for service delivery cease 30 September 2024, as part of the procurement the ICB will take the opportunity to revise the existing contract and associated schedules creating a standardised contract for commissioning against. The key aims and objectives include the following: • Commission services in a sensitive manner to minimise the impact of change on the wider ENT and Audiology pathway in recognition we are awaiting the NHSE publication for ENT pathways and lack of evidence to inform commissioning changes. • Ensure local quality requirements (schedule 4) are designed to provide robust evidence to monitor the effectiveness and quality of services provided. • A standardised and proportionate reporting schedule which includes a core data set which is compatible with the ICBs data warehouse infrastructure to enable health intelligence activities to be completed (i.e. health inequalities identification, trends, impact upon wider system). • A financial model that meets principle 6 of The NHS Constitution for England to ensure we procure services that provide the best value of taxpayers money.
