Winchester City Council is considering establishing a multi-contractor framework for tree works to support the management and retention of the Council’s tree stock. It is envisaged that any framework established, will be called off against an agreed schedule of rates, over a 4-year period from January 2025 onwards. Lot 1: This is a prior information notice only and is not a call for competition. The purpose of this notice is to advise of a potential future opportunity and to invite open dialogue on a range of related themes outside of any procurement process, which at this stage has not begun. Winchester City Council is considering establishing a multi-contractor framework for tree works to support the management and retention of the Council’s tree stock. It is envisaged that any framework established, will be called off against an agreed schedule of rates, over a 4-year period from January 2025 onwards. The Council is considering holding a pre-tender market engagement event on or around 28 February 2024. If you would like to participate, please confirm the name of your nominated representative to procurement@winchester.gov.uk by 26 February 2024. We will not be able to respond to any questions before the event but you may propose any themes or questions you would like to be raised at the event for consideration. Questions and answers from the event that are relevant to any future procurement will be made available in any resultant exercise. This is not a call for competition but information regarding an event only and this does not guarantee any opportunity at this point or participation in any potential future tender. The Council reserves the right not to run any competitions for the services referred to in this notice.
