The supply and Installation of Street Name Plates

Tender description

The councils are seeking to purchase a variety of SNPs to cater for the various, physical locations that SNPs (Street Name Plates) may be displayed e.g., wall mounted, frame. The councils require: The contractor to work from the detailed order provided by the councils at the point of submission of the formal order. The contractor to procure/manufacture and assemble new SNPs according to the materials and design specification. The contractor to install the SNPs in the positions detailed in the ‘fixing instructions’ provided by the councils following the submission of each order. The contractor to produce a digital image of at least 640 x 480mm and approximately 72dpi and between 100-200kb immediately following (a) installation of Goods and (b) the completion of repair and all associated work, in each case showing the lettering on the sign and its positioning and email the photographs to the councils no later than the day following the installation and/or completion of the work. The contractor to cater for ad hoc orders for new developments, where the councils have sought financial contributions from developers under Section 106 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, to fund the purchase and arrange for the delivery of the SNPs to site.
