Market Engagement - T Levels Generation 2 Wave 2

Tender description

T Levels are a programme of Technical Education that have introduced a high quality technical option alongside an academic option for students aged 16 to 19. The initial Wave 2 contracts that saw T Levels launched in 2021 are now reaching their end and IfATE are now reprocuring for the next generation contracts. The purpose of the proposed procurement will be to select and appoint an Awarding Organisation (AO) to be responsible for developing and delivering the Generation 2, Wave 2 T Level qualification, under an exclusive licensing approach. The expected scope of the role of the AO is that it would be responsible for: - reviewing and updating existing content of the qualification, both initially and during the life of the contract; - creating an assessment strategy that aligns with existing practice; - upskilling providers (further education schools and colleges); - provision of learning and teaching materials; - delivering qualification assessment services. This notice is in respect of Generation 2 Wave 2 T Levels and will cover the following T Levels: • Health • Healthcare Science • Science Further information on the pre-market engagement and the proposed procurement is provided on ProContract https://procontract.due-north.com/Register . All contracts will be public services concession contracts and that accordingly the procurement will be governed by the Concession Contracts Regulations 2016, to the extent that the same apply to those services to which such contract (or contracts) would relate.
