H22121: Enabling / Downtaking Works - Block 3, Scott Court, John Street, Ayr

Tender description

The location of the works is Block 3, Scott Court, John Street, Ayr and comprise the strip out of the existing render cladding, the insulation behind this along with all of the existing metal brackets and fixings supporting the cladding panels. The Ground Floor doors and windows are to be removed with the building left secure upon completion of the works. The ground floor brickwork is also to be removed, with care in order not to damage the existing concrete structure; the existing metal flashing between base course brickwork and cladding to also be removed. The canopies above the ground floor doors to be removed with care not to damage any of the existing structure and steelwork to remain. The services strip out includes, but is not limited to, the removal of the water tank and sprinkler tank at ground level, along with the removal of pipes and cabling at ground floor level, the SVP stack to be removed (but retain the openings in the structural slab); remove the lighting in stairwell and common areas and the electrical equipment on ground floor serving the flats.
