Care (Education) Treatment Review Support

Tender description

NHS Devon ICB (The Commissioner) sought to commission a service for Care (Education) Treatment Review Support in Devon. NHS England has published new policy and guidance which aims to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions for people with a learning disability and autistic people. The new guidance will support local NHS services to better understand their needs so that they can receive the right support and to recognise early signs that might lead to a crisis. This means extra support can be put in place quickly so that a hospital admission or other out of area place can be avoided. C(E)TRs are carried out by an independent panel of people which can include expert by experience, a person who is autistic or a person with a learning disability or family carer with lived experience. The contract term is a period of 12 months starting on 01 April 2023. The annual contract value is £34,734. Additional information: The services are healthcare services falling within Schedule 3 to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 ("the Regulations") which are not subject to the full regime of the Regulations, but is instead governed by the "Light Touch Regime" contained within Chapter 3, Section 7 of the Regulations (Regulations 74 to 77). The procurement process was commenced 27th September 2023, under the previous PSR.
