Tender description

South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse District Councils are working together to produce a Joint Local Plan that will guide development in the districts to 2041. When adopted, the Joint Local Plan will replace the existing adopted local plans which, along with neighbourhood plans, set out the planning policies for the districts that are used when making decisions on planning applications. The local plan policies will cover the amount and location of development, as well setting the standards for new developments. The Councils require an up-to-date and robust evidence base to support preparation of the Joint Local Plan 2041. This commission will provide the necessary evidence to demonstrate that sites being allocated in the Joint Local Plan are compatible with the requirements of the NPPF. Keywords: impact assessment, urban planning, heritage impact assessment, local plan
