Cork County Council Framework Agreement for Pavements and Associated Minor Works, 2024

Tender description

The Contracting Authority intends to enter into a multi-supplier Framework Agreement for pavement and associated minor works for national roads throughout Cork County administrative area, for a period of 24 months from 2024. The Contracting Authority may, at its absolute descretion, extend the Framework Period by a further 24 months in 12 month increments such that the total Framework Period will not exceed 48 months. The number of suppliers will be a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 (provided sufficient Applicants qualify for admission to the Framework) through this pre-qualification competition. Typically, the value of each Works Contract would range from €100,000 to approximately €5,000,000. The Applicants shall be experienced in managing and undertaking projects of similar values. The number of Works Contracts in a year are unlikely to exceed 20. Even if this Framework Agreement is established, the Contracting Authority (or other participating Authorities) may procure the work in other ways and the Contracting Authority does not guarantee that any work will be procured under this Framework Agreement.
