Provision of Security Services for the Embassy of Ireland, Brasília

In accordance with EU Directive 2014/24/EU this Tender Notice is being published on the Irish Government’s eTenders web-portal as a Title III Service. Tenderers interested in taking part in this competition should note that ALL communication relating to this tender competition must be made directly with the Embassy of Ireland, Brasilia by email to brasiliaembassy@dfa.ie. The Embassy delivers services on behalf of the Government of Ireland to Irish and non-Irish citizens and organisations based in Brazil. The security of the persons working in and visiting the building(s) is essential to ensure the ongoing operation of the Embassy. The Embassy is currently seeking tenders for the provision of security guarding services in both its Chancery, located at SHIS QL12, Conjunto 05, Casa 09, Lago Sul, Brasilia, and at the permanent residence of its Ambassador, currently located SHIS QL28, Conjunto 04, Casa 17, Lago Sul, Brasilia. a. To provide fully trained and security vetted Security Guard Services, and other Protective Services as detailed below, in order to control access, protect life, maintain order, deter criminal/terrorist attacks against employees, dependents, and visitors, and to prevent loss of Embassy of Ireland property and information. b. This contract is designed to satisfy, without interruption, the security services requirements of the Embassy of Ireland to Brazil, referred to as “the Embassy”. A detailed description of the services required for the Embassy is provided in Appendix I of the CfT.
