Tender description

The Trust wishes to appoint a single supplier to deliver full catering services to all schools. The contract will commence from 1st August 2024 and will be for an initial period of 3 years plus an option to extend for a further period of 1 plus 1 years. v Lot 1: Graveney Trust is a MAT based in Tooting, London which formally came into existence in April 2013. The Trust has responsibility for Graveney School, which has a history of outstanding achievement over very many years, with five outstanding Ofsted inspections to its credit in the last couple of decades. Also, in the Trust is Tooting Primary School which opened in 2013 and Franciscan Primary School which joined in 2018. Trust Schools: Graveney School Welham Road, SW17 9BU Tooting Primary School Franciscan Road SW17 8HE Franciscan Primary School 221 Franciscan Road SW17 8HQ Background Graveney School: A mixed secondary schools with circa 2,200 pupils aged 11-18. The school has approximately 15% of pupils eligible for free school meals. Tooting Primary School: A mixed primary school with circa 400 pupils aged 4-11. Franciscan Primary School: A mixed primary school with circa 300 pupils aged 2-11. The school has nursery classes Basis of Contract The Trust wishes to appoint a single supplier to deliver full catering services to all schools. The contract will commence from 1st August 2024 and will be for an initial period of 3 years plus an option to extend for a further period of 1 plus 1 years. The total turnover estimated for all schools is circa £2.8 million (over 3 years). Objectives The appointed Supplier will have: •Significant experience of delivering quality catering services within a MAT containing both Secondary and Primary schools. •Sufficient local resources to ensure the required level of service is constantly maintained. •Familiarity with successfully managing high volume commercial budgets in secondary schools •Proven ability to grow sales and increasing pupil meal uptake •A compelling attitude towards making the lunchtime service appealing, healthy and educational for children.
