Tender description
Milton Keynes City Council are currently doing market engagement for Electric Vehicle Superhub Infrastructure. The Council is proposing to roll out a combination of Superhubs and Chargehubs, which would offer residents a range of charging options at different locations. We propose to create Superhubs at high footfall, visible locations and Chargehubs more residentially focused, at the centre of localities. The Council conducted engagement exercise, in late 2023, showed a strong market appetite for delivering for each Superhub, solely focused on Central Milton Keynes (CMK), supported by three Chargehubs in suburban or rural locations. Since then, we have reviewed our initial proposal and where we could seek future private sector support. Therefore, this revised market engagement request will look to establish the market appetite for delivering Superhubs in a select few key locations across the borough, Chargehubs in a wider, more residential focused settings and/or a combination of the two. The Council welcomes your opinions on what works best for the market. Suppliers that would like to take part in this engagement process are invited to 'Express Interest' upon which the will be given access to the documentation delivery through this e-tendering system. When the documents have been made available involved suppliers will receive notification via email and the tender documents can be accessed from the 'My Tenders' area of this website and selecting the 'View Details' button of this project.
