Tender description

The Northern Ireland Water Group (The Client) is a group of companies registered in Northern Ireland which are governed under the Companies Act 2006 and subject to UK tax legislation and HMRC compliance. The Client is fully owned by its shareholder, the Department for Infrastructure, and is economically regulated by the Utility Regulator. The Client has been building its own in-house tax competency and plans to increasingly carry out its business-as-usual tax activities in-house. The Client appointed its current tax advisers in 2018. This Contract has appointed Contractors to work alongside the Client's internal tax professionals to provide relevant tax advice in order to assist with the Client's tax compliance, and review Client submissions to HMRC as appropriate. Lot 1: General Taxation Advice General Taxation Advice. Additional information: Contract awarded for 3 years with the option to extend for 1+1+1. Lot 2: Capital Alowances Capital Allowances. Additional information: Contract Awarded for 3 years with the option to extend for 1+1+1.
