Tender description
Southend-on-Sea City Council are seeking to appoint experienced and qualified organisations to undertake statutory servicing and maintenance of the Building Management Systems and Lightning Protection and Fall Protection Equipment.at Public Buildings and School's within the City. This procurement has been divided into 3 lots;\r \r Lot 1 - is for the appointment of a qualified contractor for the servicing and maintenance to Building Management Systems within Public Buildings and Schools under a JCT Measured Term Contract 2016 Edition. The Council are seeking to appoint one service provider for this Lot.\r Lot 2 - is for the appointment of a qualified contractor for the provision of Inspection, testing and repairs to Lightning protection equipment and Fall protection equipment at Public Buildings and Schools under a JCT Measured Term Contract 2016 Edition. The Council are seeking to appoint one service provider for this Lot.\r Lot 3 - is for the appointment of a qualified contractor for the provision of Inspection, testing and repairs to Fall protection equipment at Public Buildings and Schools under a JCT Measured Term Contract 2016 Edition. The Council are seeking to appoint one service provider for this Lot.\r \r The aim of the contracts are to provide planned servicing and maintenance by suitably qualified engineers. Objectives include adhering to a planned maintenance programme. The main outcomes are to ensure reliable, suitably accredited and qualified contractors are employed to ensure the equipment remains reliable and compliant to SFG20 standards.\r \r The Length of this contract is 3 years with an option to extend for up to 2 years.\r \r To view this opportunity please register for free of charge on the Council's e-tendering portal on the following link https://procontract.due-north.com.
