Tender description

The successful candidate will be required to examine and assess the various Appropriate Assessment Screening Reports and/or Natura Impact Statements (NIS) submitted as part of the planning application process under Section 34 and 37E/ 291(4) of the Act in line with relevant legislation and guidelines, to ensure their completeness and quality in view of best scientific knowledge and report to the planning authority within agreed timelines. Standard Services • Expert witness report with conclusions on submitted Screening Report • Expert witness report with conclusions on submitted NIS • Provide expert guidance during the planning application process Provide point of contact for queries as they arise. Additional Services • Expert witness at Oral Hearings (this will be subject to a separate budget) • Expert witness in Judicial Review cases (this will be subject to a separate budget)
