Tender description

Conwy County Borough Council [CCBC] required a Structural Engineer to undertake a thorough inspection of the structures and produce a condition survey of the structure with recommendations, drawings and scope of works for remedial and intervention works.The Structural Engineer was to identify, procure and undertake surveys to help inform the design process.CCBC were to perform Principal Designer Duties under the CDM Regulations 2015.CCBC procured a point cloud survey of the Colonnade which was to be available for the Structural Engineer to use as a base layer for the information they produce. This was made available on appointment.The Structural Engineer was to use their knowledge and experience to identify all interventions with the structure, building services and finished to enable CCBC to tender the construction works with a full scope of works identified.CCBC gathered information from the Structural Engineer and produced tender documentation where necessary obtain Landlord Consent or submitted Listed Building or Full Planning applications.
