Hook Head Lighthouse Visitor Experience Upgrade - Traffic and Environmental Engineering Consultancy Services

Tender description

Wexford County Council is seeking submissions from competent Traffic and Environmental Engineering Consultants for the Hook Head Lighthouse Visitor Experience Upgrade. The project entails briefly: new visitor centre including new interpretive experience/exhibition, new café/restaurant, new event/community space, and new staff welfare, support and maintenance facilities; new car park and all associated site, utilities and treatment infrastructure (new and upgrades to existing), and refurbishment/repurposing of existing lighthouse keepers’ cottages (listed buildings), and other site and buildings rehabilitation and improvements, and any necessary upgrades/improvements to public roads and traffic/transportation measures. The Traffic and Environmental Engineering consultant shall be required to provide (non-exhaustive): traffic and transportation assessments and reports, environmental assessments (AA Screening, EIAR, NIS etc.), and specialist environmental engineering/science design, and the design of any traffic/transportation related Works that may be required to public roads on approach to the site etc. and shall be the lead consultant for the Planning Consent process.
