The principal duties of the chair of the South Tees Carers Forum are: • Engage, network and liaise with stakeholders and partners around the work of the Forum and task groups, • To maintain relationships and update partner contacts • Assist Task Group leads to report into the Forum • To plan and run meetings in accordance with the agreed Terms of Reference • To ensure matters are dealt with in an orderly, efficient manner. • To bring impartiality and objectivity to meetings and decision-making. • To facilitate change and address conflict during meetings. • To oversee the administration of the forum including preparation and distribution of notes of meetings
