Tender description
The Scottish Land Commission is seeking a contractor to support communities, landowners, and investors in understanding and agreeing community benefits from natural capital investment. The project is funded by grant money from the Facility for Investment Ready Nature in Scotland (FIRNS), provided by National Lottery Heritage Fund and NatureScot. Lot 1: The Scottish Land Commission is seeking a contractor to support communities, landowners, and investors in understanding and agreeing community benefits from natural capital investment. The project is funded by grant money from the Facility for Investment Ready Nature in Scotland (FIRNS), provided by National Lottery Heritage Fund and NatureScot. The contractor will design and pilot: - training on community benefits delivered from natural capital investment based on Guidance on Delivering Community Benefits from Land; and - a route map for developing formal agreements on packages of community benefits delivered from natural capital investment. The contractor will be working as part of phase 2 of an overarching project, FIRNS 2.0 Community Benefits Certification Mark for UK Natural Capital Projects, which is examining the viability of an auditable certification for community benefits that can, for example, be used alongside carbon or nature credits. The contractor will also be working closely with the Community Benefits Advisory Group to add value to wider activity on communities and green finance.
