Tender description

West Midlands Fire and Rescue Authority has awarded a Call-Off Contract for the supply of a replacement command and control system for a period of 5 years. The contract was awarded following a further competition through YPO's DPS 001218 Critical Incident Management and Public Safety Software and Systems. Staffordshire and West Midlands Fire Control (SWMFC) is one control function that provides the service for both the Authority and Staffordshire Fire & Rescue Service. There are three control room locations and across the two services, one main control room, one sub-control room and one secondary control room which currently use a hosted ICCS and CAD. As such, the Authority is also procuring the replacement Solution to be used on behalf of Staffordshire Fire & Rescue Service.
