Tender description

The Bolfracks wall is an existing gabion basket retaining wall supporting the A827 between Aberfeldy and Kenmore. The River Tay is at the foot of the wall. Ensure compliance with ecological licence requirements Erect traffic diversion and take full road closure Install rockbag scour protection in River Tay Install temporary works as required Remove existing failed gabions basket wall Rebuild new gabion wall Reconstruct road surface Install new vehicle restraint system The Contractor should note the extensive environmental constraints, licences, and species protection plans. An Ecological Clerk of Works will be employed by the Client to monitor compliance with these requirements.
