Tender description

The DNE is looking to contract with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 Delivery Partners to deliver STEM activities to Primary and Secondary Schools that will involve coordinating schools, planning content of activity sessions and delivery of these sessions in schools in the following areas: Lot 1: 60 schools across the North. Lot 2: 40 schools across the Midlands. Lot 3: 40 schools across the Southeast. Lot 4: 60 schools across the Southwest. Lot 5: 40 schools across Scotland. The aim of this activity is to extend our reach to this target audience to promote STEM events and enable the target audience to better understand the opportunities available to them as a career choice. The focus will be aimed at young people from aged 8-14 years old (Year 3 – 9). The start date of the project will be August 2024 and the delivery of this project in schools will commence from September 2024 through to July 2025 with the option to extend by +1 year, subject to funding and supplier performance. Delivery Partners should offer either full (5 hours) or half day (3 hours) STEM activities to cater for the individual needs of the Primary and Secondary Schools and should focus on supporting schools where participation in STEM subjects is minimal. Tenderers must submit one Tender per region via the Defence Sourcing Portal. Should the Tenderer wish to tender for several regions (maximum of 3), a separate tender for each region should be submitted which will be evaluated on their own entity during Tender Evaluation. Lot Lot 1: North The DNE require a Delivery Partner to deliver STEM activities to 60 schools across the North. Lot Lot 2: Midlands The DNE require a Delivery Partner to deliver STEM activities to 40 schools across the Midlands. This is to be delivered across Primary and Secondary Schools and will involve coordinating schools, planning content of activity sessions and delivery of these sessions in schools. Lot Lot 3: Southeast The DNE require a Delivery Partner to deliver STEM activities to 40 schools across the Southeast. This is to be delivered across Primary and Secondary Schools and will involve coordinating schools, planning content of activity sessions and delivery of these sessions in schools. Lot Lot 4: Southwest The DNE require a Delivery Partner to deliver STEM activities to 60 schools across the Southwest. This is to be delivered across Primary and Secondary Schools and will involve coordinating schools, planning content of activity sessions and delivery of these sessions in schools. Lot Lot 5: Scotland The DNE require a Delivery Partner to deliver STEM activities to 40 schools across the Scotland. This is to be delivered across Primary and Secondary Schools and will involve coordinating schools, planning content of activity sessions and delivery of these sessions in schools.
