Works Contractor for the construction of various schools in 2 bundles within the Leinster region for the Department of Education by Employer Led Design (ELD)

Tender description

The Department of Education (the Contracting Authority) intends to appoint Contractor(s) for the works to include, construction of a number of primary and post primary schools including all site works, ancillary works and associated site development works. The contracting authority intends (subject to change) to procure these works in two lots by way of a two stage restricted procedure and to commence construction during 2025 and onwards. The tender procedure is anticipated to include; 1. Market Engagement 2. Shortlisting of candidates by way of an SAQ process 3. A quantitate and qualitative (Quality /Cost) assessment (MEAT) 4. Utilisation of PW-CF(01) works contract The details and a short description of the schools and lotting are enclosed with this notice. Interested parties should express interest in this notice accordingly by [the date noted on the CfT]. The Department of Education intends to host a market engagement event with interested parties over the summer months to allow provide further detail of the proposed works and to help inform final definition of the procurement parameters.
