Provision of Services for the leasing of an Electric Vehicle for a Share-Car project for Kildare County Council

Tender description

The contract will include for provision of a medium sized battery electric vehicle (Hyundai Kona EV type vehicle or equivalent) or similar sized vehicle and shall included for the following element:. • Routine vehicle maintenance should be performed at least once a month, including a thorough cleaning. In case of a breakdown, full on-site assistance should be provided. • Replacement electric vehicle if the vehicle is off the road. • Ability to use the providers share car in different locations for all staff members registered and approved on the application, the downable application on the staff member’s phone will facilitate charging at any offsite EV charging station. • EV charge card to be provided for vehicle charging costs if charged at offsite EV charging station when in use. • Provide a costing for the option of the addition of Kildare County Council crest and climate action logo on the vehicle. The crest and logos will be off minimum size of 500mm x 500mm. This is an additional extra and will not be included as part of the contract unless instructed by the client. • Option for the additional of a Share-Car logo marked on the paved surface of the relevant car parking space for the car, at the offices of Kildare County Council Aras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare W91 X77F. The Share-Car logo will be of minimum size 1000mm x 1500mm. This is an additional extra and will not be included as part of the contract unless instructed by the client. • Training will need to be provided both onsite and online for staff intending to use the vehicle at the beginning of the project. Additional training will be provided at a later date for members of staff who have missed the initial training along with recordings of online training for future use. • A full vehicle management system which includes but is not limited to the following: o An online booking system which is accessible via desktop or mobile. o Unlimited number of users within the portal which can use the vehicle if fully registered and approved. o Keyless entry via application to ensure key can always be kept in the vehicle. o Instructions on how to operate vehicle along with FAQ list to support any small issues which might occur when using the vehicle. o Web videos to give information on how to download the app, signing up and how to enter the vehicle. - Detailed monthly report on usage of vehicle. - Detailed data on how much emissions were saved per month when using the electric vehicle as opposed to diesel/petrol comparison.
