Market Sounding - Major Works in Occupied Properties

This market sounding exercise is being undertaken by Leeds City Council to obtain the views of potential contractors to help with the procurement process and proposed strategy. This document provides background information for the project with a number of questions designed to help decipher: • We are looking for a list of contractors who we could approach to help repair and maintain Leeds City Council properties which have fallen into disrepair. • Your appetite for whether or not your organisation would like to be considered for the project over the next 2 years with a possibility the contract may be extended for a further 2 x 12 months. • Your observations regarding the potential work and strategy. • Your views on any issues with respect of providing the specialist works and your solution. It is our intention to use this information to inform the procurement process. Please provide as much information as possible in order for us to obtain as full a picture as possible. However, we would appreciate specific answers to the questions raised, rather than the attachment of extensive technical or promotional information. The responses you supply will be treated in the strictest confidence.
