MARKET ENGAGEMENT for Contractor to Design & Build and to Operate & Maintain a District Heat Network, Kingston upon Hull

Tender description

Hull City Council is currently in the process of undertaking a market engagement exercise using open invitation to establish market interest in, and to inform, its procurement for the Design & Build and Operation & Maintenance of the Hull District Heat Network (HDHN). Details of the Hull scheme currently being developed are attached for your information. Please note that this is the market engagement stage of the process; the Council is approaching suppliers to gather information and to ascertain the level of interest in this project. It is currently anticipated that the actual procurement process and commissioning for these contracts (to be undertaken via an open tender) will commence during July 2024, with an anticipated contract start date of 1st November 2024 and an anticipated contract length of a minimum of 36 months. Interested suppliers / contractors are invited to submit responses to the Market Engagement / Expression of Interest document via the Council's electronic tender portal, YORtender, MARKET ENGAGEMENT Ref. 88173, by Friday 28th June 2024.
