Security and Gate Control Services are required at the Ports detailed below. The services are tendered on a Lot basis and will result in individual contracts. A different supplier may therefore be successful in respect of each Port. Lot 1 – The Port of Felixstowe, Suffolk (contracting entity: The Felixstowe Dock and Railway Company) Lot 2 – Harwich Internal Port, Essex (contracting entity: Harwich International Port Limited) Lot 3 – London Thamesport, Kent (contracting entity: Thamesport (London) Limited) Please see attached excerpts from the specifications for each port. These are drafts and subject to change. The commencement date for all three contracts will be 1st March 2025 with an anticipated term of five years. The Ports reserve the right to only invite the top 5 scoring suppliers who reach or exceed the pre-qualification requirement be invited to tender. It is important that correct and full information is given in response to pre-qualification and other questions asked to enable suppliers’ applications to be properly assessed. The Ports anticipate, from previous experience, significant interest in these opportunities. Tenderers shall treat the details and contents of this tender opportunity as private and confidential. Tenderers shall not disclose such information to any third parties or use them other than for the preparation and submission of a response to this opportunity nor shall Tenderers publicise the Purchaser’s name or the Tender without the Purchaser’s prior written consent.
