Provision of Managed Print Service to the Government of Jersey

Jersey is a self governing British Crown Dependency situated 140 kms off shore of the UK. The Government of Jersey operates a Managed Print Service (MPS) model to fulfil it print to paper and general low volume desktop scanning requirements across their corporate, education and health estates and services. The Government of Jersey is commencing a procurement project to renew this provision of service. To commence this process, we are seeking qualified interested providers of submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming procurement. The successful provider(s) will need to possess/provide :- • Ability to provide network MFD devices ( new and refurbished) – ideally as vendor neutral provider to optimise machine deployment to user needs). • Print management software ( eg pull print/print from home, minimise adverse environmental impacts – energy star requirements to reduce paper and power consumption). • Genuine cashable cost saving on printing. • All necessary on island facilities to install, support machines ( R&M, toner . fuser, drum cartridge, waste toner and staples in a timely manner to machines at their installed sites. • Corporate governance print and cyber security policies along with qualified on-island management and services teams. • Deliver social value/inward investment to the island as part of the MPS service provision. During the remainder of 2024 there will be a significant change in our operation as we move to our new Head Office. We expect this will dramatically change the print demand within our corporate function. Therefore, to optimise the print solution for the Government and islanders it is prudent this major relocation activity is undertaken prior to full procurement project commencing. At this stage we are seeking Expression of Interest from firms that will be able to meet all the criteria noted above and highlight the importance of the requirement to provide on-island infrastructure and support..
