ODS is seeking a Contract for the Management and Treatment of Dry Recyclate requirements.The contract will be split into 2 Lots:Lot 1 - Provision of Transfer StationLot 2 - Collection of Dry Recyclate, Onward Transport and TreatmentThis Contract is for 2 years + 2 x 2 year extension periods Lot 1: Provision of Transfer Station The Contractor shall throughout the Contract Period: a) provide an undercover, fully licensed Delivery Point including any bulking facilities for the routine receipt of Contract Recyclables and other materials from ODS and ODS-authorised Collection Vehicles; andb) ensure that Contract Recyclables and other materials delivered to them are loaded onto the Lot 2 Contractor’s haulage vehicles.c) Remove any large and obvious contamination contained within the Contract Recyclables before loading into the Lot 2 contractor haulage vehicles. Lot 2: Collection of Dry Recyclate, Onward Transport and Treatment The Contractor shall throughout the Contract Period: a) collect Contract Recyclables from the Lot 1 Contractor, from the designated Delivery Point;b) ensure that Contract Recyclables and other materials collected from the Lot 1 Contractor are Recycled or treated in accordance with this Specification and the Service Delivery Plans; andc) provide all haulage and separation services necessary to achieve both a. and b. above.
