Sports Floodlight Upgrade

Tender description

Napton Parish Council is seeking tenders for the upgrading of existing metal halide box floodlights to LEDs on two tennis courts and one small sided astro turf pitch. The current set up consists of 24 bulbs on 16 steel columns. The existing steels columns are to be retained. Lux levels should comply with those set out in Sport England's design guidance for tennis and recreational football and should be no less than current (when newly installed). Information on how the existing sports surfaces will be protected during installation must included in the proposed methodology. Methodology must comply with all relevant Health and Safety and Environmental regulations. Experience of similar projects will be an advantage. Information on any warrantees/guarantees should be included.
