Tender description

The Association of North East Councils trading as the North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO) has established a framework agreement for the supply of rock salt in bulk and bagged forms required to enable contracting authorities to meet their winter maintenance services responsibilities. The products will be delivered to a notified list of delivery sites for North East located contracting authorities and designated sub-regions across the UK for all other contracting authorities. Lot 1: Bulk Salt North East Supply and delivery of Bulk Rock Salt in the North East of England. Delivery of bulk volumes being transported (per tonne) to the Contracting Authority storage facilities, via large haulage vehicles. Lot 2: Bagged Salt North East Supply and delivery of Bagged Rock Salt in the North East of England. Delivery covers smaller transportation of bagged volumes with pallet deliveries to the Contracting Authorities. Lot 3: Bulk Salt UK UK wide supply and delivery of Bulk Rock Salt.
