Tender description

The aim of the service is to provide safe, sensitive, and reliable travel solutions for Service Users identified by Children’s Services. The services that may be required are as follows: • Taxi with a Passenger assistant to take a young person to their educational setting • Minibus with a Passenger assistant to take multiple children to their educational setting • Accessible vehicle with a Passenger assistant to take multiple children to their educational setting • Taxi to take a young person and their parent to an educational setting • Taxi and Passenger assistance to take a young person to supervised contact • Taxi to take an adult to Court • Taxi to take a family to a visit which could be a wait and return • Taxi to take a vulnerable adult to a day centre • Secure Transportation of children possibly at risk • Removals of household belongings This list is not exhaustive and there may be other travel requests that you may be asked to provide other types of travel assistance.
