SCC 2024021 Eastern Garvoge Bridge and Approach Roads - Garvoge Bridge Category 3 Check Services

Tender description

The services shall include: 1. Providing the Technical Approval Authority with a review of the bridge Technical Acceptance Reports prepared in accordance with TII Publication DN-STR-03001, April 2019 (NRA BD 2) by the Authority's Design Consultant (RPS Group in association with Hewson Consulting Engineers) for the following principal structures: - Eastern Garvoge Bridge; - Cushlough River Bridge; and - Scheme retaining walls. 2. Category 3 independent Design Check of the detailed design of the Eastern Garvoge Bridge, a single span tied arch bridge over the Garvoge River in Sligo, including: - Review of the Designer’s wind tunnel testing interpretative report; and - Detailed review of design drawings, bar schedules, specification appendices and other relevant documentation. The check shall be of the entire bridge including inter alia the superstructure, cable hangers, substructure, foundations and finishes.
