Pre Tender Engagement Event for Learning Disabilities Respite Services

Cheshire East Council are holding a Pre Tender Go Live Engagement Event for Learning Disabilities Respite Services in Cheshire East at 1pm on 26 June 2024 via Microsoft Teams. A review of Learning Disability Respite Review has been undertaken by Cheshire East Council on learning disability respite services. The focus of this review is around accommodation-based respite support. This type of support remains a vital component in ensuring that carers of individuals with learning disabilities get appropriate overnight respite and to take a break from their caring responsibilities. The key drivers for reviewing respite services for people with learning disabilities, are to ensure respite services offer the best possible outcomes for the people they support and to make sure we provide value for money in the services we commission. The purpose of this event will be to inform you as a provider about the opportunity and what the council are planning to commission. It will also give providers the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarifications before the tender goes live on The Chest in early July.
