Industrial Heritage Rescue (Killhope Lead Mining Museum) There are 5 main areas/buildings which make up the package of urgent works, all of which fall within the boundary of the scheduled monument; *The Tourist Mine (Concrete box and scenery). *The Washing Floor/Washing Rake *The Mine Shop (Grade II listed). *The Jigger House (Grade II* listed) *The Buddle House Reference should be made to the tender documents for the full requirements and how to book a site visit. This Project is to be funded by the Arts Council England Museum Estates Development Fund (MEND), with match funding from Durham County Council. Progression of this procurement exercise and any award of this contract opportunity will be conditional on confirmation of sufficient funds being available and/or modification of the Project requirements.
