Heat Network Project Management Support

Tender description

Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council has been awarded a grant by the Heat Network Delivery Unit to undertake techno-economic feasibility of selected heat networks in the borough. The Council is appointing Technical Consultants to undertake and prepare a detailed technical appraisal and economic viability study into the establishment of low carbon heat networks to serve the Town Centres of Blackburn and Darwen. The Council requires a skilled Project Manager with a thorough knowledge of heat networks at project development and / or delivery stage to oversee the work of the technical consultants, provide quality assurance on the technical consultants' performance and outputs, engage with stakeholders and liaise with both the Council, as client, and with the Heat Network Delivery Unit at the Department of Net Zero and Energy Security.
