Alterations, extension upgrade works to 2 no. existing long care residential units over 3 phases, in separate locations, in two Lots on behalf of HSE West. Existing services and access to be maintained at each stage of project. Refer to Preliminary H and S plan for designated compound areas including construction/general traffic management requirements. Lot 1 (Teach Aisling, Westport Road, Castlebar, F23 R528) minor works to include new floor finishes, painting/decorating and new anti-ligature ironmongery to selected existing windows. Lot 2 (Teach an Coillin, Westport Road, Castlebar, F23 H744) significant works to 2 separate wings as follows: North wing (Works Area 1) upgrade of existing office/former residential area (132sqm). Works include partial upgrade of layout, new walls, floor and ceiling finishes, fire compart/fire upgrade works and upgrade of external ramp. South wing (Works Area 2), upgrade of existing office layout (156sqm) as area associated with residential unit. New walls, floor and ceiling finishes, fire compart/fire upgrade works and extension (132 sqm.) Patient access areas require significant anti ligature works, refer to specifications /drawings. Works require substantial ME upgrade extending beyond works area including fire upgrades and alterations to fire comparts. Garden area to rear to include anti ligature features, adjusted/new approach ramps parking areas.
