Tender description

1. Beaversfield Park: The project consists of the following SuDS and landscaping features: o 800 m³ of attenuation volume provided through below ground natural aquifer drainage stone wool blocks, located within Beaversfield Park o The area above the feature will incorporate an "Active & Play" landscape design, comprising of a pump track and terraced steps for seating. The area will have surrounding stone pathways and grass mound with predominantly meadow planting, providing additional amenity and public value. The landscape design adheres to the overall park masterplan. The SuDS feature is designed to attenuate flows from the upstream catchment area for rainfall events up to and including 1 in 30-year return period including and allowance for climate change. 2. Wellington Road North: The project consists of the following SuDS features: o 585m³ of below ground crate storage located within the green open space adjacent to Wellington Road North. o The area above the feature will incorporate a "Community-centric Corridor" landscape design, comprising large grass mounds, footpaths, and seating area. The area will have predominantly meadow planting and relocating existing tress, providing additional amenity and public value. The SuDS feature is designed to fully attenuate flows from the upstream catchment area for rainfall events up to and including 1 in 10-year return period including, with exceedance flows occurring in storm events larger than for the 1 in 10-year return period events.
