Alternative Provision Opportunity to Visit Proposed Alternative Provision Premises Wiltshire Council have invested in a new premises in the North of the County and are seeking providers to deliver DfE registered Alternative Provision for up to 50 young people aged 11 to 16 with additional social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs (with or without an Education, Health and Care Plan, EHCP) who are unable to attend mainstream or specialist school for some or all of their education. We are providing an opportunity for providers to visit the proposed premises prior to formal publication of the Tender planned for early Summer. There will also be a presentation that will begin promptly at 10:30am. Please note, any question you may wish to ask during your visit will need to be directed through Supplying the South West Portal. About the premises The school has a capacity of up to 50 pupils and the existing accommodation comprises of nine classrooms and an art room, a main hall, staff room/office, library, shower and WC facilities, barn/play area, grassed playground, sports field and tennis court. The neighbouring village of Colerne is in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has a vibrant community with a primary school, doctor surgery, local shops, pubs, village hall, post office and a recreation ground. Opportunity to visit the premises will take place on: Thursday 13th June 2024, 10:00-14:00 A maximum of 2 people per organisation are permitted to visit the site.
