Early Engagement for Bus Shelter Operation and Maintenance Service for Dartford Borough Council

This Notice provides information of a future opportunity to provide bus shelter supply, operation and maintenance service for bus shelter locations and infrastructure in the Dartford Borough area in Kent. Dartford Borough Council (DBC) would like to engage with bus shelter providers in regard to supply, installation and maintenance of bus shelters including living roof shelters for all bus shelter infrastructure managed by DBC in the Dartford area and to agree a preferred supplier and product as per DBC’s specification. DBC requests that interested suppliers express an interest in this opportunity and to share their thoughts and expertise to assist DBC to determine and shape the specification. The solution can be a new design or based on an existing design used elsewhere. Providers that are interested but are not registered on the Kent Business Portal should register at the following address in the first instance: www.kentbusinessportal.org.uk This Notice process will help us shortlist suitable companies with the relevant capability of provision of Bus shelters / Living Roof shelters and will run from 21/5/2024 to 7/6/2024 (18 days duration). The Council intends to hold a competitive tendering process during 2024, via the Kent Business Portal, to secure these new bus shelters / Living. It is the Council’s aim to make the Invitation to Tender (ITT), process as easy as possible for tenderers to complete. It is anticipated that the initial contract of supply and maintenance will run for approximately 5 years with the provision for 5 years extension and a commencement date of January 2025.
